Crucifixion

Romans lined the street, left and right.

Screaming, yelling, crucify.

The noise was intense and out of control.

You know the Law, read the scroll.

When I think, think about that day.
I’m so thankful and I pray.

But I cried, yes I cried, torn apart inside.

Wooh, I cried, yes I cried, but I understand why.

Julius Caesar bowed to the people.

Pontias Pilate carried out the orders.

You can feel the anger in the roar of the crowd.

Only if they knew, what this was all about.

Only if they knew, what this was all about.

If they knew he was the savior, they would have changed their hearts.

There would have been no crucifixion.

They would have just walked away.

Two robbers, two male-factors.

One known as the King of the Jews.

A lot of sweat, a lot of blood

On their way to Calvary to open the door.

COLD NIGHT FOR THE ROMANS

The crowd had murder in their eyes  ~ Hate & anger on both sides of the road

A crown of thorns lied upon his head  ~ as he dragged the heavy load

He felt more pain than any man will know ~ His blood ran onto the street

Still in his heart, he carried God’s love ~Victory meant more than defeat
The course of life will be changed forever ~ Thanks to a violent, angry group of people

And it’s a cold night for the Romans ~ For they know not what they do
A Cold night for the Romans ~ For they must kill the king of Jews

The twelve disciples has disappeared ~ Hiding from the angry mob
They were afraid, consumed with fear ~ Trying to find a way out of there

Simon was pulled from the crowd ~ to help carry the heavy weight
The Romans and others left the city behind ~ Walking through the valley of death 
They let a murderer go, set him free
They hung a innocent man at Calvary

This is part 2 of 3 Crucifixion, Cold Night… and Resurrection. It was written for Easter.

 ALL OUT OF LOVE

In the beginning, God created Heaven and Earth

We were naked in Eden, barefoot in the dirt

There was a shift of power when man was deceived.

Pain and misery followed Adam and Eve.

Then came death and destruction, paradise was gone.

So God gave us laws engraved in stone.

But there were too many rules, we failed to understand.

So God sent his only Son to save every man.

It was all out of love.

From our Father above.

We can never thank him enough

It was all out of love.

On a glorious night in Bethlehem.

A child was born that would change everything.

He would walk on water. He taught God’s Word.

He knew his purpose was to save the world.

He was tempted by the devil but he did not fold.

He kept right on healing and saving souls.

He carried a chunk of wood down a crowded street.

He knew his death and resurrection was the enemy’s defeat.

The origins to crucifixion, the Bible in a nut shell and it was all out of love from our Father above.

A typical day is waking and being thankful and appreciating the things and blessings that God gives freely. We should strive more to be Christ like and try harder to be God’s man.

SURVIVORS

It’s too late, the damage is done.

Life in the garden is over and gone.

Don’t blame Adam. Don’t blame Eve.

It was the master of deception that led to defeat.

There was an uprising and a war in heaven.

This was long before the Garden of Eden.

The past is the past and there’s you can do.

The future is ours, the chosen few.

The garden is closed to everyone.

We made our mistakes, we paid the price.

Our days are getting shorter because we left paradise.

So Stand up and deliver.

Take pride in being a believer.

Remember, we were all born sinners.

God paved the way for us, through Jesus Christ and his resurrection to buy us back from the enemy, we will survive The war in heaven that led to Lucifer being cast out and the trouble he caused in the Garden of Eden..

Now there’s a man who says it’s all going to end but he don’t have a clue.

Maybe, we should all buy him a Bible, so he can learn the truth.

I’ve seen all of the violence in the streets.

I’ve heard enough from the scientist geeks.

I’ve been living among the fools for far, too long.

Life here on this planet, is out of control.

I’ve seen a money trail for political gain. (Political campaigns)

I’ve seen terrorists crashing airplanes. (Twin Towers Terrorist attacks)

I’ve seen fake body parts and queers on the television. (Silicone Valley and its products, the homos on every TV show)

I’ve felt the ground move in the wake of devastation. (Earthquakes in Japan)

Come and take me home, I’m ready to go.

I’ve been living among the fools for far, too long.

In a nut shell, a song about the modern times and a guy who’s had enough and is ready for Christ to return.

WORKING CLASS MAN

A working man gets up before dawn.

At time, he struggles but he never gives up.
A lot of strong men would self-destruct.

He would fight for his country, though the times are the worst.

The only none-Christian song on the CD but yet a very important song that people can identify with especially during the hard times

COMMANDER IN CHIEF

Some people are blinded by traditions.
They can’t seem to find the truth.

They’re walking blindly in circles.

They’re emptiness in a full room.

But I’ve got to keep on pushing, trying to break through.
The last thing that I want to do is give up on you.

Cause I’m a soldier of fortune  I’m a military man

I’m fighting a Spiritual battle here in no man’s land.

God’s Word is my weapon, I’m in a company of love.

The Commander and Chief is my Father above.

Some people are narrow-minded.
They let their emotions get in the way.
They’re caught in a web of dependency.
They should surrender all and pray.

The world is a war zone, like or not.
The runs interference and he does it a lot.

But we can take this hill, if we stand our ground.
We have surface to air missiles, it’s the armor of God.

This beautifully written song is about the Spiritual battle that every Christian fights daily.
